Clear Steps Recovery holds Joint Commission accreditation for Behavioral Health Care and Human Services under Health Care Organization ID 691351. The Joint Commission is the same body that accredits hospitals. To keep the Gold Seal, an organization is surveyed on site at least every three years against national standards for patient safety, clinical quality, staffing, records and the rights of the people it serves.

Our Londonderry office is licensed by the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (NH DHHS) as an outpatient substance use disorder treatment program. Our Needham office is licensed by the Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Addiction Services as an outpatient program (Clear Steps Recovery MA Corp), and you can confirm that yourself in the state's BSAS licensed-program lookup by searching for Clear Steps. Each state keeps its own list of licensed programs, and the license certificate is posted at each office. Admissions can read you the license number for either office when you call.

If you want to look us up through the state instead of through us, New Hampshire routes people through NH DHHS substance misuse treatment services and The Doorway at 211, and Massachusetts publishes its licensed programs through BSAS and the Helpline at 800-327-5050.

We are not in network with Medicare at this time. Most commercial plans in New Hampshire and Massachusetts are accepted, along with TRICARE and VA Community Care, and admissions verifies any plan at no cost before anything is scheduled.
