The Doorway: Where New Hampshire Starts Treatment
The Doorway is New Hampshire's single point of entry for substance use help, whether someone needs treatment, support or information. There are nine Doorway locations, so help is less than an hour away, and all of them are reachable 24/7 by dialing 211 (About The Doorway). Services include telephone and in-person screening and crisis stabilization, evaluation, care planning, facilitated referral, continuous recovery monitoring, naloxone distribution, transportation assistance and support for loved ones. The Doorways accept most insurance plans, help people sign up for insurance, and have financial assistance available.
