Where Is Your OP Program Located?
Clear Steps Recovery offers outpatient therapy at our Londonderry, New Hampshire facility. Contact us today for more information on how to begin your custom program.
What qualifies as outpatient rehab?
Any level of addiction treatment you attend while living at home. The ASAM framework used by our clinicians separates it into three intensities, all offered in Londonderry: Day Treatment (PHP), full clinical days on weekdays, the Intensive Outpatient Program at about nine to twelve hours a week by day or in the evening, and the Outpatient Program described here, weekly individual and group sessions. Outpatient does not mean less serious, it means you sleep in your own bed.
What is outpatient drug rehab like?
Regular appointments rather than a stay. In our Outpatient Program you come to Londonderry for a scheduled individual session with a master's-level clinician and a weekly group, work on stress, relationships, mental health and relapse prevention, then go back to your day. Medication-assisted treatment continues alongside if it is part of your plan. Most people arrive here after Day Treatment or IOP, though some start here when an assessment supports it.
How many days a week is outpatient rehab?
It depends on the level. The Outpatient Program is weekly individual and group sessions, scheduled around your week. IOP is three to five days a week during business hours or four evenings, Monday through Thursday from 6 to 9 pm. Day Treatment is five weekdays. As you progress you move down that ladder, and the schedule is set with you around work, school and family.
How much does outpatient rehab cost?
Outpatient care is the lowest-cost level we offer because it is billed per session and most plans treat it like any other outpatient therapy visit, often with a per-session copay after your deductible. There is no room and board, the main reason outpatient treatment costs a fraction of a residential stay. Admissions verifies your benefits at no cost and tells you your share before the first session. Without insurance, ask about self-pay or dial 211 for The Doorway NH.
Can I work or go to school during the Outpatient Program?
Yes. The program is built around clients who hold a regular work or school schedule, with sessions placed around your week rather than the other way round. If you need more support for a while, Evening IOP meets Monday through Thursday from 6 to 9 pm at the same Londonderry center, and you can step up and back down with the same clinicians. Nothing is shared with an employer or school without your written consent.
